Gabrielle Griot was born in Massachusetts, raised in Rhode Island, and after nearly a decade spent in the UK, now lives and writes in Austin, Texas.

he holds a master’s in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, where she wrote across both poetry and prose.
She is a professional copywriter and editor by day, and her creative work has appeared in various literary magazines including Ninth Letter, Banshee, Hobart, The Moth, bath magg, and elsewhere.
